I will host a workshop at the annual Teaching and Education Day by the Faculty of Science and Technology at Umeå University on August 20, 2019.

My workshop, simply called Teaching Sabbatical, will adress going abroad to teach. I will talk about my experiences of leaving the chores at Umeå University behind and moving abroad with a family. Furthermore, we will discuss the success factors for writing a application to the STINT Teaching Sabbatical program.
